Privacy practices for our website, inquiries, and client services.
Policy
Effective September 26, 2026. This notice explains how Marquise Social, a New Jersey-based social media marketing business, handles personal information through its website and client services. Please read it before sending information to us.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you contact us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, business name, project details, and correspondence. In client work, we may receive access to social media accounts, content, analytics, and audience or customer information supplied or made available by the client. Our hosting provider may also process basic technical data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address and device or browser information.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange consultations, provide requested services, manage client accounts and campaigns, communicate about projects, maintain site security, and meet legal obligations. We use client-provided audience information only to perform the agreed services and follow the client’s instructions and applicable platform rules.
3. WHEN INFORMATION IS SHARED
We may share information with website hosting, contact-form, communications, scheduling, cloud-storage, and social media platform providers when needed to operate the site or deliver services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not describe client-authorized platform activity as a sale of personal information. Ask us if you would like details about providers used for your project.
4. COOKIES AND EXTERNAL PLATFORMS
The website may use essential technologies required for hosting, security, and forms. We do not currently describe advertising or analytics tracking here because the website collection you identified is the contact form. If tracking, advertising pixels, embedded media, or email marketing are added, this notice and any consent choices should be reviewed. Links to social platforms and other sites are governed by those services’ own notices.
5. RETENTION AND SECURITY
We retain inquiry and client information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, perform services, keep appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit account access to people who need it for the work. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Clients remain responsible for the privacy notices and permissions applicable to customer or audience data they provide.
6. YOUR CHOICES, CONTACT, AND CHANGES
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations. Contact michelle@marquisesocial.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” If your request concerns information held by a client or social platform, please contact that organization directly; we will assist our client as appropriate. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. We may update this notice and post a revised effective date here. New Jersey residents may have additional rights under applicable privacy law where its requirements apply to our business.
